About The Event
At Frontline Farming we have a holistic view of seeds. They are the core of everything we do as farmers and they come to us after generations of blood, sweat, and tears. We preserve foodways that cater to the palate of a diverse group of people. In addition, we contribute to a bio-regionally adapted seed library with other farmers and gardeners in the Denver metro area.
In 2025, we will be increasing the size and scope of seed saving activities in 2025. As part of this process, we will increase our tracking of key performance indicators throughout the lifecycle of our plants. In this way, we hope to build a strong base of vigorous, high producing, and tasty plants (seeds). We also want to test and control for other factors - water scarcity, poor soil conditions, etc - so that our seeds are adapting to changing environmental conditions.
